Just a note that this list has been ranked based on the aerial sequences featured in the movie, rather than by the movie quality as a whole.
Also, 'Top Gun: Maverick' isn't featured in this list, as the video was made prior to the film's release.
What about pearl harbour film
Red Baron!!!
How did I know Red Tails wouldn't be on the list? 🤔 Not even an honorable mention
Waldo Pepper! Great flick, you made xlnt choices Mr Smashing.
How about "Command Decision" with Clark Gable, I thought it was a pretty good flick, not a lot of flight sequences, but still about aviation.
Top Gun is a very massiv shit Hollwood Tale
Red Wings and Midway were also pretty enjoyable for me
Excellent choices (tho not that thrilled by Top Gun) but should have had Midway (2019) esp given its sticking to history
Great video thanks
If you want a couple of non realistic ones to watch, give Blue Thunder & The Final Countdown a watch.
If you were making this list today Masters of the Air would have to be on this list even though it's a show.
Frieden, Freiheit, Glückseligkeit, Freude und Wohlstand für alle Menschen
Les Chevaliers du Ciel is better than Flop Gun (the first one).
Bro there isn't a single vietnam War movie about The Tactical Air command , and its jets. an vietnam war movie based on airforce back in 60's would be so much interesting
There is nothing "infamous" about the battle of Britain, which should be number 1 on your list
The blue max…. An excellent movie!
Though quite elaborate but include Midway staring Charlton Heston
Thx for this great compilation
12 O'Clock High, Devotion (Netflix), The Red Baron (2008)
Midway was great too!
Not a pure battle film, but I'd add The Great Waldo Pepper to the list. Great aerial scenes.
Anyone who puts dunkirk as a top Ariel combat movie, clearly has not seen any good ones
What about midway
Oh another good film,is RED TAILS, based on the first black fighter pilots, also known as the TUSGEGEE AIRMEN.
Tora Tora Tora,my fave follwed by battle of Britain,633 squadron, top gun,and a little known movie, called The Final Countdown,F14 Tomcat versus Japanese WW2 Zero.
Dunkirk wasn't very good at all,how long did that spitfire fly for when it run out of fuel, ludicrous.
Fly boys? Redtails?
No1 is Twelve o clock high!
Top gun…With F5…😅😅😅
My God man!!!
Battle of Britain number 1.
What the actual @#!& is wrong with you?
Flyboys with James Franco definitely need at least and honorable mention
And no mention of Red Tails??
Pearl harbour movie has left off. It should be there in this at least at 8-5 position
War lover and the Final Countdown.
Battle of Britain – #1
Top Gun at #2 – no
Dark Blue World – yes, partly due to the flying sequences borrowed from Battle of Britain, like loads of other films.
Twelve O'Clock High – can't disagree, but as mentioned, is unique for having very little flying.
Just my opinion.
Aces high should be here and twelve o'clock should not be no1
I am very sad to see that The Tuskegee Airmen 1995 and its sequel Red Tails 2012 weren't even in the honorable mentions. Both being great movies with some of the best aerial scenes I have ever seen
As much as I love topgun it's not a patch on the battle of Britain
Battle of Britain head and shoulders above all the rest!
