It's all good until you get so far into it they showing up in your house looking like a 7' tall 400lb Oni Demon crossed with the Predator with jet black skin and a yellow head that has your facial features with the most maniacal evil joker grin on it's face and it's seen by you and everyone in the house. Then, it's time to dial it back a little.
You don't have to believe in anything. I've led tours with random people for stuff on Halloween with full gear and scared the hell out of complete non believers.
One night at Goatmans Bridge in Denton Texas. This couple shows up in the lot in their car and my kids and me are taking a break at our truck and I've got an app running with a phonetic generator and this things just been talking away half the evening and it's getting dusk. It didn't the first five minutes cussing me when I first turn it on that evening and ask if they're "Interdimentional beings" it says, "yes". I ask, "what dimension"? "Fifth"! In a deep, evil voice. Things talking backwards, doing all kinds of craziness... Anyway this couple pulls up asking what I'm doing and I show them and before they say anything else I say, "let's try this, what's his name??" And gesture to her passenger... It says, "Chris"!... I don't know these people from Adam. The guy turns white and face turns to shocked stone. Total non believer in anything and it really screwed him up, bad they hung with us the rest the night and went and ate a late night burger with the kids and me and you could tell it really put the Zap on the kid. I told him it was going to be alright, it's just how it is, don't sweat it. Anyway. Things get crazy doing this stuff. I've walked away from it many times when it got too close to my kids. But then I know how to completely get rid of it in an instant.

Their videos are great entertainment for the younger female crowd but they stage way to much and way too goofy to be taken serious. I'm sure they are nice kids who worked hard getting this famous. But they are entertainers - not investigators.
