What are some other twin film pairings that we didn't mention?
Deep impact and Armageddon have an asteroid theme. They do not have similar plots. That's like saying Star Wars and Star Trek have similar plots.
I know of 1981 My Bloody Valentine and The Prowler to be twin movies.
And now the recent, The Quiet Place and The Silence to be twins.
It's like us vs uk Dennis, but yeah didn't knew about each other, and one was inspired by his child
Wow lot similar O.O didn't knew was that common
Did you know that in 1989, there were four movies like James Cameron's "The Abyss". I sincerely believe that was just them preying off of the success of that movie.
why does no one creates something at the same time
If it wasn’t for the Hulu Fyre documentary, I would still find F Jerry funny. Jerry Media produced the Netflix documentary yet they were involved in the advertising for the Fyre Festival which made it so big in the first place. Jerry Media are just as much to blame as Billy McFarland.
Easy. There are rats in the team working on the original, working for the other team as a spy.
The Matrix and Dark City must be one of the most overlooked in this thing, though I never was aware of that being a big thing, I just always wondered as a child why they would bring out Armageddon after I had just seen Deep Impact in the movies?
Hmmmm
Speaking of A Bug's Life and Antz released around the same time, what's hilarious in hindsight is that the main villains in both movies were voiced by Gene Hackman and the eventually disgraced Kevin Spacey respectively, because Gene Hackman played Lex Luthor in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, and Kevin Spacey later played the same character in Superman Returns.
Matrix and Equilibrium
Now we have Renfield and The Lasst Voyage Of The Demeter.
Perhaps it is better having both similar movies as great movie mashups
Even jack and daxter has a twin (vexx) and both of them aren't even movies but like movies one had a successful carrier and vexx disappeared in 2015 after owing
Too much money to the mafia
Who the heck is Gordy???
OMG! You forgot the current 2023 twin movie coincidence: Cocaine Bear and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey !!
Favorite twin animated tv series: The Simpsons & Family Guy.
Actually, I LOL that even the creators of both these shows think they are rip off of each other, when they are NOTHING alike, ENTIRELY different humor, and I love them both.
To be totally honest, for a good number of years there, 'round about when "Superbad" came out (which I have not seen, only the trailers), I thought Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill were the same actor.
My favorite twin comic book empires are Marvel and D.C. Basically identical twins.
Also, Star Wars & Star Trek: identical.
You forgot about "The Human Centipede" trilogy and the "Saw" movies.
Or, rather "The Human Centipede" and "Velma" ten years later.
Oh wait. Watching "Velma" FELT like being part of a human centipede. My bad.
I saw both "Volcano" and "Dante's Peak" and "Armageddon" and "Deep Impact" in the theaters. I've wondered this for 25 years.
Braveheart and Rob Roy spring to mind.
My brother likes pall mart mall cop 👮♀️
Imagine if Justin Timberlake was in No Strings Attached instead of Friends With Benefits? People would think it would be an *Nsync documentary 😆
You know your film is done for when somebody else makes a similar film starring Meryl Streep.
