Slipknot, Slayer and Therapy? From Ireland, knowing how many bands I have watched and moshed to. In our metal scene we take care of eachother so I also helped getting people out of mosh pits to get them out of harms way. Others have helped me as well, of which I am truly appreciative
Thanks for letting me know the name of that song by RAM.
i know i'm late to say this and this wasn't directed to anyone specifically but i remember seeing a Canadian band called Marianas Trench at an event and the frontman actually stopped the show because there were so many kids on shoulders and he said directly to the audience that he didn't want to see any kids with backs to the ground and feet in the air. BTW, this happened in 2022
Linkin Park would always stop shows to help if needed i was at the docklands 2001 concert and i was at first clueless till i figured out what the hell was going on
No mention of Aaron Lewis.
The guy demands respect be given to everyone or……. Get the fuck out
I am a retired door supervisor ( cooler ) and at 1 venue I worked at EVERY band was 100% respectful and stopped playing triggering house lights going up and myself and the venue medic to get to work. Sadly 1 gig a fan had collapsed and we had to cordon off an area and this soon turned into a life or death situation and sadly passed. Yes it gets that bad and security and the medics bare the brunt of the criticism when it is attendees who make our work twice as hard. I RESPECT APPRECIATE AND APPLAUD ANY BAND who stops a gig they can be life savers. ❤❤❤❤ sorry it's long winded but I feel it needed to be said
With 0 proof for Billy. Likely PR BS.
Foo Fighters paused the show in Christchurch a week ago, and Dave Grohl ripped the shit outta two guys fighting
I was having a panic attack My Boyfriend Brandon Uire saved me
When someone falls, what do you do?
Pick them up.
Saw public image Ltd live at alton towers. Everyone kept throwing bottles at john lydon. He stopped the show and shouted stop f.cking throwing what you don't realise is there is a deposit on these and I've got em all. 😂😂 it soon stopped.
In (I think it was the) early to mid 2000’s at a Tim McGraw concert in (I think) Seattle Washington, Tim stopped the concert to address a man assaulting women in the first couple rows. He stopped singing and is seen gesturing for security to come over. He then pulls the assaulter on stage and shoves him as hard as he could across the stage causing the assaulter to stumble close to 10 feet away. McGraw then walks up to the assaulter, grabs his shirt by the collar and makes a fist and probably threatens to punch him before he is seen pointing off stage while likely telling security to throw him out. The assaulter really should’ve known better than to pull something like that right in front of the artist himself.
P.S. I keep calling the fan “the assaulter” because in my opinion if you put your hands on a woman or child, you are less than human. So calling it “the man” wouldn’t have been accurate!
A popular rock band in my country once stopped a performance because two guys started beating each other up in the crowd. The singer got pretty mad and said something along the lines of "We are here to have a good time, and not for those two dickheads to punch each other." The two guys were then escorted out by security and everyone cheered. 😀
OMG STOP MAKING VIDEOS!! STOP TALKING!!!! F MOJO!
I’ve seen bands take care of their fans numerous times! The two that stand out to me is Marilyn Manson and Spencer from UnderOath. At the UnderOath show security was picking on fans and just being complete assholes to the crowd. He said “when I’m up here, this is my family. You’re being disrespectful to my family, you need to stop!” It wasn’t a violent crowd or anything (granted, I’ve never seen a violent crowd at a metal show in the 2+ decades I’ve been going to shows). When I saw Manson in Vegas I witnessed my first ever fight at a show. This guy picked a fight with a woman that was at least a foot shorter than him. Manson stopped the show and didn’t start it back up until security got to the guy and they were halfway to the exit. I love how well rock and metal artists take care of their fans. It’s a big ass pit and everyone is taking care of everyone! I remember seeing several bands UnderOath and SlipKnot included that have said during their shows “take care of each other. If someone falls pick them up. If someone needs out, help them get out of the crowd. Tonight this is your family. Take care of each other!” So I have a lot of respect for the bands I’ve seen over the years!
When someone falls what do you do…….
Not me thinking the Green Day one was gonna be the show in 1997 where a guy apparently assaulted a girl and Billie just jumps feet first into the guy’s face 😂
You left out Ivan Moody scolding a douchebag who body slammed someone in the moshpit.
This just shows even tho they are idols at the end of the day they will put the safty in front of performance.
Fans are an idols earnings sure but they are still hummen.
Respect to all of them.
Ty for this list mojo it really was a good one to see.
I like all the list but this one stood out to me.
More than could be said about Travis Scott. He refused to stop his show while people died because "you cant just do that"
not to mention Billie Joe Armstrong once jumped into a crowd and beat up a guy who was touching a girl
💗💗💗
.
Maggots can actually be pretty pleasant. Just ask Corey Taylor.
Well isn't this the biggest f*ck you possible to Drake and Travis Scott.😂😂
As a Scotty fan, THE BOY F*CKED UP…. HARD!!!
O h my god this channel is so bad. NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY AREN"T SHOWING ANYTHING RELATED TO THE TITLE??? Fucking shows way too much trash before getting to the point. Reminds me of the trash I used to see on TV back in the day like 20 years ago lol.
Now I wear a wrist coach on my wrist so I can get medical and security people to give them a hand just in case something bad happened.
This is Beautiful because i am actually epileptic and knowing artists care is amazing💜
Because they actually care as opposed to astroworld where people died because of a heartless artist!
I saw Cory stop a show in Toronto in 2022 to save a fan. He then started the song from the beginning. Lives up to his reputation as a good guy.
Disturbed is on this list as well they have done it a ton of times
June of 2022, I was at a Garbage concert. Shirley Manson stopped the concert twice. Once was was to give 2 small children ear plugs to protect their ears. The other was to get help for a woman who was passing out from drinking too much alcohol. I definitely have respect for her.
Of course Taylor Swift made a "top" list. I'm surprised that Five Finger Death Punch didn't make this list. Ivan Moody literally stopped an entire show to save a kid from a mosh pit. Like literally screamed at the people. He was literally starting to get off the stage after threatening to beat the hell out of everybody, but then security freed the little girl. He then brought her and her family up on stage, gave her some ear protection, and let her sing along a couple times.
Like them or don't, but Ivan Moody is a good guy with some personal struggles. Every time they did a show, for years, he would go and buy out the entire stock of sleeping bags at a local store and donate them to a homeless shelter.
and TRAVIS SCOTT DID THE OPPOSITE
I guess Jason Aldean doesn't qualify…….
… Too soon?
I got flipped 10 feet through the air in a mosh pit @ Warped tour '04, and Flogging Molly stopped the show to ask if I was ok.
Too much filler nonsense
No, the last concert I was that was Peter Frampton live. I was one of the thousand screaming kids that was the last concert I was ever at.
Guns and Roses have stopped shows to help fans before, as well to back up fans who were pushing to the front causing people in the front to get pinned to the stage
I was at a Front Line Assembly concert and my glasses got kicked off my face by a crowd-surfer. Bill Leeb stopped singing, pointed in my direction, and waited until someone found my glasses. They were bent to all hell, but wearable for the rest of the concert and the hour-long drive home.
