In 1979 Ridley Scott’s Alien changed the landscape of both the sci-fi and horror movie genres. It also kickstarted a media franchise that is still alive and well today. The success of the 1979 classic has spawned sequels, novels, comic books, toys, and even video games.

The film franchise has three sequels, two prequels and has even crossed over to the Predator movie franchise. Moviegoers can expect to see more of the acid-spewing aliens on the big screen.

The aliens shaped changed depending on the host. So in Alien 3, the alien that came out of the dog was a four legged version while the aliens from the humans were two legged. And back when the original movie came out, a companion book was released which I had read and it confirmed that it was strictly taking its shape from its host. And now you know.

First of all, Engeneer dialogue is 4 pages of script that were summed in 2 minutes and that conversation is amazing.
Second, Engeneers are just an otre lifeform created by other race way superior in knowledge but less strong or more "weak"

Sorry, but this does not explain anything and niether does the Covenant movie. I mean, from where came the alien ship on LV 223? It is the ship from the Prometheus movie and then what?

The biggest let down was when I was watching Prometheus and noticed the sculpture on the wall was Alien... Here I thought we had a cool ass horror/what if story. But no... Just another installation into a shit franchise. Should of been less about the Alien and more about The Engineers.

Watching these for the first time ever and was told to watch the AVP 2 films first. They are stand alone I'm gathering and I was confused as to where they fit in with the story line!! Thanks to this I get it.
