Tomb Raider I–III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed and published by Aspyr. It is a remastered compilation of the first three games in the Tomb Raider series: Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II (1997), and Tomb Raider III (1998), all of which were originally developed by Core Design.[1] The game is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on Lara Croft’s birthday, 14 February 2024. Tomb Raider I–III Remastered is a collection of remasters of the first three games in the Tomb Raider series: Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, and Tomb Raider III. Each game features archaeologist-adventurer Lara Croft as she travels through a series of ancient ruins and tombs in search of ancient artefacts, and is presented from a third-person perspective. Like in the original games, Lara uses two pistols with infinite ammo by default in combat, and can run, walk (which prevents her from falling off ledges), look around areas, jump forwards and backwards, shimmy along ledges, roll, swim through bodies of water, and move blocks. The collection includes new features across all three games, such as options to choose between enhanced and original graphics and classic and modern control schemes, as well as camera lock-on, health bars for boss battles, photo mode, and over 200 achievements.

I don’t like the lighting in the remastered I got myself stuck for hours because the key or keyhole appears invisible very hard to see with the bad lighting. And the controls with the camera is annoying I played on pc back in the day and never had those issues.

The photo mode is a perfect tool to use like a drone camera to scout the map before making mistakes.

I wish we could play the game with save crystals as an option from the beginning, thats how I remember the game as a playstation player. It changes the game totally. In every way. The accomplishment, how I think, the happiness, the tension, everything. The tears, of course, frustration yes, but thats part of the game 😂

I'm sure it will get patched 🤞

Modern controls are very half baked, I'd prefer to use them but there are too many deficiencies that make playing the game harder than it needs to be. On top of that modern controls have major camera issues when you're near walls, in fact even with tank controls and modern graphics there are instances where the camera is not compliant, switching to the 30 fps old graphics mode solves the camera issue so I'm frequently swapping graphical modes just to rein in the camera. There is an update on the way but unknown what issues are going to be addressed with it.

I straggling with this controls. I played all the original game of tomb raider when they release , but I forgot how difficult they were.

Tomb Raider Remastered I - III has a huge annoying problem. Its very easy to accidently load a previous game instead of saving. Its Very annoying because it means losing progress and redoing what has already been done......very very very very annoying!!!!!!. I'm now stuck on a part that a previously did. The Remaster needs updating so the save can be seen straight away instead of scrolling through the menu or accidently clicking load.

I love Tomb Raider I-III remastered too, do I ever. 😃😊 I can’t express my words how much I love it. 😊

It feels too good to be true, that the current owners of Tomb Raider have finally done this for us. 😊😇

Anyway:

1. Does anyone here know about the remastered N-Sane Trilogy of Crash Bandicoot and the originals by Naughty Dog? In N-Sane Trilogy, they did NOT reuse the voice overs and looks of how everything moves in the originals, which they did here in TR I-III remastered. Too bad they didn’t do it in CB remastered, but nonetheless, I’m glad they did it in TR remastered. 🙂

2. I have one little announcement to everyone else who love(s) TR I-III remastered:
Together we shall make it profitable for the current owners of Tomb Raider, to remaster The Last Revelation and Chronicles too! 😊😎

I hate the controls. I didn't play these on ps1. First tomb raider was the reboot and that was a great game. I can't seem to get the hang of her janky jumping and her awful auto aiming and the horrendous camera controls. Having said that, I'll keep at it and hope tomb raider 2 and 3 improve.

Just imagine a modernized original trilogy of Tomb Raider it would look amazing like how Capcom did with Resident Evil remakes. But I'm extremely happy how they remastered this golden trilogy the memories of when I played it back than. It just needs small fixes.

My problem with the modern controls is that simply put they don’t work with the game. One thing that I’ve seen expirenced players explain to new players is “forget modern controls and get good at tank controls” which I kind of totally agree with. I feel the modern controls were just added to capture a specific audience. You lose a lot of your movement and acrobatic precision. I get its stiff but Tomb Raider is a precision platformer so surely you’re gonna want the control type that gives you the most control over your character. Like how the game was created to be played.

Also worth pointing out when your in the 5th/final location in TR3 Antarctica their,s abluebar beneath Lara's health if you stay in the ice cold water for too long. Otherwise poor Lara will die of hypothermia 😁😉👧💁‍♂️🥶❄️🎒🪔🔫🔑📜🔍

If the locations are too dark then use aflare fella as they,ll last about aminute before they go out same as in the oridginal TR games
