Money strat: Go to planet fitness early in the morning (if they give out the pizzas/bagels in the afternoon then this is flawed) get as much as you can then sell.

I quit going to Planet Fitness and cancel my membership a month ago because that gym in my location is so boring. The stretching area is way too dark and small, and the rest of the area makes me feel bored. Also that place a has a poor internet connection. That's why I stopped going there.

Deadass, never have i been to a gym where they judge you. If anything the typical gym meat head or big guy(s) will coach you. Many new gym peeps end up just as big or extreme progress achieved from their teaching. Its actually a fantastic and dare i say beautiful thing what the gym culture has right now. Constant uplifting, and teaching each other. Got each others back all the time. Don't get me started on how respectful most are, but ofc is there bad ones? yeah. But you get that literally anywhere. Other than that i must say the gym community is truly a wonderful community to get involved with 100%

I am so over planet fitness the purple machines and changing rooms and hand dryers and shower curtains and lockers ugh I'm sorry but its too much for me i cannot deal with that anymore it's making me dizzy if I ever see something like purple like that again I'm flipping out immediately the purple machines and equipment are too much its overwhelming and really just makes me dizzy the Bright purple is too much for me i love the color purple but the way that planet fitness did it was overwhelming for me enough to seriously reconsider my life and my evaluations in general every time i work out they got pizza out and the lunk alarm🤦🏽‍♀️ i swear to God its like saying I'm fat you need to take your fat A$$ to the gym the equipment in there is not much for you to do in general it's gets really annoying and downright irritating after that and half of the music is awful they play the most annoying music that no one wants to listen to at all that Chris Brown song yo excuse me miss i hate that song with a burning sensation they would play that song to annoy and anger everyone inside the gym they also played a demonic song once I'm like tf is happening here i cannot believe the absolute 💩 fest i have to witness makes me question my existence in general i am sick and tired of it, its always the exact same crap as before it gets annoying for me and the others i do not understand how planet fitness has a no judgement zone but when people show up they judged make that make sense to me how the hell is it a judgemental free zone when the people in there are being judged immediately I've been judged numerous times i am sick and tired of that stuff the sheer amount of disrespect that these people who pay for memberships inside planet fitness get judged based on their looks and the way they are dressed just makes me question everything I'm canceling my memory because it seems like they can't even keep track of the memberships that people be buying and end up charging you by the end of the month hell nah i don't think so that other gym charged me $180 for the yearly membership I'm like screw this mess the amount of disrespect I get makes me boil entirely I do not understand the reasoning behind planet fitness putting up a sign saying we are a judgment free zone when y all literally being judging people and bringing in pizza on mondays like tf is that supposed to get anyone to go on the machines this literally screams fat ass alert that's injecting someone with a deadly substance they know nothing about

I go to planet fitness all the time even though i have a 24 hour gym mebership plainly because I can go right after school because it is nearby and way cheaper. Never heard the lunk alarm go off or the free food stuff. only things i dislike it the crazy number of cardio machines so get rid of like 5 of them and put normal benchpresses and squat racks.

Please read all: about planet fitness scams , As a veteran with PTSD if I'm bench pressing the alarms may cause me to go into epileptic shock or drop it on my throat & if it dumbbells,it will trigger my fight mode I will throw the weight toward the first person I see. The sound of the alarm is similar to when our FOB was ambushed. Also now I'm fat but in other gyms, no one judges me they even help me & spot me with my workout due to my injuries. So I can get back to what I was after 4 years of surgeries due to an IED

my gym is only 15 a month has every plate loaded press imaginable except a hack squat dumbbells up to 110 every normal machine or cardio machine, trx, pylometric stuff, open 24 hours, and never busy. well worth the 20-25 minute drive instead of of a 15 minute drive to either the y or planet or a 5 minute drive to a 60 dollar a month gym a quarter of the size of mine with janky equipment
