UPDATE TO THE GAME STOP POST STATING “MICROSOFT GAME PASS”

Game Stop’s official X account has taken down the post referring to “Xbox Game Pass” as “Microsoft Game Pass” almost immediately after we reached out to both Microsoft Gaming / Xbox & Game Stop for comment.

Game Spot has deleted their tweet but I still wanted to talk about the idea of Game Pass being left behind as Microsoft focuses more on game sales on PS5 and Nintendo Switch in 2024!

2024 and still no games😂😂😂 series s already discontinued. Xbox is in trouble. Series s and series X launched the same time and series s is already obsolete? Tells you everything you need to know about series X which only offers a slight bump in resolution. The jump from 1440p and native 4 k isn’t that huge to the point most people will chose performance mode over fidelity mode on ps5 dropping from native 4K to 1440p anyway, even at the loss of raytracing in some cases.

Man idc if they make another console or not, or wether or not the games come to Playstation or not, we will be fine either way same as the last 40 years. MS Gaming is the worlds largest publisher, so Sony will compete, even if theres no Xbox. They know that if their games arent good we wont buy them, just look at Ragnorak sales compared to Forbidden West. Xboz is trash, Playstation 5 is dope. Looking forward to FF7, Stellar Blade & Silent Hill 2. Also looking forward to Outlaws & Capcoms next game. No room to worry, i know we are in good hands.

two easy steps to killing off your console:
1- release your games day one on pc. now people dont need to buy your console.
2- release your games day one on a cheap rental service. now people dont need to buy your games.
congratulations, you have now effectively devalued your console & killed your revenue stream.

what did they expect? im sure they wanted to see if starfield would move the needle for console sales. it didnt. now its time for plan B. xbox has been on life support since 2013, kept alive only by microsofts deep pockets. and the consolidation needs to stop. how has MS improved bethesda, rare, obsidian or any of their acquired studios? i see a greedy corporation buying their way out of failure for years. outspend the competition. instead of investing in their studios & making great games, just buy more ips for gamepass. hows that working out? then theres the layoffs.
