Aeolus being both playful and deadly is such a good representation of a god of winds. Especially to a culture where seafaring is as important as ancient Greece’s

Absolutely the BEST animatic for this song. I love how she's perfect personification of wind. Playful but also destructive at thé end.
And with this innocent look and cool attitude her words doesn't seem so serious, but truth is different

Y'know, if you think about it, aeolus never said he had to keep the bag, just not to let it open. He probably could've just tied it shut tight then thrown it away.

I love Aeolus and Poseidon so much! Wind obviously is playing a game to lead them to Poseidon so he can get some justice but then turns to help, and it's so in character for a wind to change

Aww the little cloud girl is so cute! I like this more girly design compared to other animatics I have seen. She reminds me of like a female version of kid Goku spinning on her little cloud! It really suits the girly playful singing voice she has! 😊

If I was making a seemingly innocuous deal with a god and then they started singing "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer~" and "Never really know who to trust~" I would nope out of that deal so hard.

This dynamic shot at 1:54 to 2:03 is masterful, it moves beautifully from perspective to perspective and character to character perfectly in sync with the song. Incredible.

Also: I love that Aeolus appears almost as somebody working on a completely different set of rules and reality than Odysseus, almost like a character from Adventure Time put in sth like Vinland Saga. It really does make them look otherworldly and weird in the best of ways.
