They promote this fake reality to their fans and in return they get all the fame and money. However money doesn’t fix everything. Rap had an enormous run. Really from the 90s to the 2010s it was immensely popular and had enormous cultural influence. Country music use to be this way, then rock and roll, then disco, then pop/punk music, then rap. I think it’s run in the number one spot is coming to an end. It’ll still have a huge fan base and rightfully earned its spot as a top music genre, but the prime of rap music might be ending
