I do want to say thanks to Google's use of AI to detect and prevent Forest Fires. Here in the NJ Pine Barrens. We have had a couple bad forest fires here that were closed to home, but could of had more if it wasn't for Google & Weather Services AIs potential fire source location tracking system that has given fire departments heads up of possible hot spots that could cause a new forest fire.

That was excellent Alan. Really excited about the wave energy power stations being deployed. In NJ there has been push back from people (many times because fossil fuels companies putting out false information) against alternate energy system such as wind turbines off the NJ coast. Saying wind turbines will obstruct their view, of course their view you would need a telescope. But with these wave generation systems, they can be deployed anywhere and provide an unlimited supply clean energy.
Also thank you for the story about the EU fight to stop deep fake porn, especially revenge porn that so many women deal with. Hopefully the US and other countries will follow suit.
It would be nice if big companies like Facebook and LinkedIn would create a real program to prevent fraudulent accounts (many times generated using AI) that steals the likeness of a victim to allow criminals to be friends, build a relationship and steal money from unsuspecting caring people. In the last few years deep fakes have been deployed using these likenesses to send videos to those people.
Powerful AIs with just as powerful AI Ethics that protect both people's rights & safety as well as AI Innovations are needed more everyday in this Brave New World.
