Nikkyo and Gotegaish are my faves
… " A Bit of a Geezer, A little Bit Whey 'n' a Little Bit Whoah… " 😂 Brilliant Tutorial, THANKS 👍
I love Aikido too. Very good video. Nice humor. Best wishes for you guys.
Man, aikido is brutal, you use it so effectively, in a very practical manner, and you teach well.
I call hand locks a bell of consciousness 🔔, a way to encourage a bully to quickly re-calculate. They will be thrown off gaurd, and put firmly under your control, at which point you can model for him how a man of character conducts himself and get safely about your business. #golden_rule
I use aikido with small circle ju jitsu and my other martial arts. It’s a gresa art for protecting yourself in NYC, where I live, from the overly-inflated, entitled, Trump-y white bois who like to assert their toxic masculinity. And without getting slapped with an sssault charge – just don’t break anything.
You strike me as a good man. Thank you for sharing. ✌️ 🤜🫷
Amazingly and untypicaly helpful compliant ‘ aggressors’ here in first 2 – but then hey .. that’s Aikido !
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face
Unfortunately the camera man did not Focus how to grab his fingers in the first technique but anyway good channel good clip 👍
Halleluja thnx bro amen
WOW!!!! This Is *Awesome*
‘Love These *Aikido* Techniques!!!!
Too bad you guys don't come up with some kind of a solo practice aid for Aikidokas in regard to applying locks (inc. ikyo, sankyo, nikyo), arm bars, etc. I'm thinking of something like a stand-alone figure that consists mostly of just the torso and arms. The fingers, hands, wrist, elbows and shoulders all have fully-functional joints so they can be manipulated just like the real thing. Great for practicing reaching out and grabbing those parts of the body to then apply the locks/bars to them. 😉
Osu! Arigato gozaimashita!
In law enforcement, we would use the “Geezer Technique” all the time. It’s a great technique for law enforcement and security personnel when you have to escort someone. If you bring the wrist down lower or cover the lock with your other hand, it just looks like you are holding their arm. Great control technique for two officers to use. Also easy to transition from this position to a handcuffing position.
Check this out
Asu .is a big old lump .prob the wrong side of 16 .5 stonne.
Assu .I should imagine .he was a bully .who enjoyed fighting .years ago .I think now .he has changed the errors of his ways .also .is a more likable person .
Haha…jeez the camera cuts off the first technique.
Hi u growing a bit nice to see u again
Could you repeat the video of the first technique, pls.. Its beginning is out of the frame.
Agaiın disaster. Not useful for Real life.Peiple are not plastic models and in a club after drinking they will attack move and show u the stara.Dont loose your time and money on these unuseful tecnics. The worse japanese martial art is aikido.Try Krav maga ,kickbox,MMA,BJJ aikido is nothing just full of lies.İ realy hate it and when i sene people loosing time on it such a big lost.
Nice
Maybe you should re-film. Your camera person didn’t focus on the hands.
i had 6 years of martial arts. i had a young police officer ( just a demonstration ) put me in this 1st lock . he quickly put the pain on me and it took my breath away. i was embarrassed that i could NOT get out of it. so it does work.
Well done
Yes of course, it works. Iam a Master in Hap Ki do. very similar to aikido jutsu. the problem is more, how to setup. The execution of the locks and throws of course they work!
Anyone could just pull away from these easily, and they would in a real fight. Aikido is a joke.
Nice sir
Azu.. Some of the techniques were not fully in frame. I especially like to see how you do that first move. My son and I were going crazy trying to get it right. You made it look much easier in the video.. But I couldn't see as you were setting up the thumb hold.
1:23 "I flip this hand up here…" (Camera doesn't pan low enough so we can see how demonstrator is grabbing the hand.)
This video is 4 minutes and 20 seconds long iykyk lol
Top teaching method
I miss London so much
I thinkasu use to be a violent thug .a bit to keen on thumping g peple akido has made him BETTER MAN
Couldn’t see the grabs: below the field of view. Do over with the camera showing the grab?
