You earned a subscriber. Well done you.
Makes a clickbait fitness advice video, about how you shouldn't subscribe to clickbait fitness advice.
The solution is to listen to what they all have to say, do your own research, consult a local expert, and try things out for yourself. And most importantly, think critically.
Huberman speaks about what works for him. It may not work for you. And he doesn't say that you should do what he says. The state of the online fitness space is bad, but there are a few who are legit. Figure out what works for you.
wait y is dr mike on ur thumbnail tho? i feel like he kinda exposes those misinformation and gives general and practical facts abt health, nutrition and body building
I came here just to dislike this cause it popped up in my feed. You’re wearing a Cookies sweater but coming for Andrew Huberman. Pretty sure you know nothing about health. Get outta here.
good vid man
eh, i listen to ALOT of fitness podcasts and shows. yea there are some ads but compared to the overall length of the podcast, it is a tiny part. It is far better nowadays than it used to be a decade or two ago.
Joe Rogan does 3 hours with like 2 minutes of ads… no, i do not feel like they’re selling me something 😂. Also, you can skip the ads.
I get the “fear mingering” and they go a bit high level vs simple stuff, but a few ads really isn’t a big deal.
I really don't trust what anyone says.
In the end words are cheap. I trust my own research, trial and error and most importantly, results. Nothing more, nothing less.
Can't tell if this is satire. I assume it isn't, so I'm gonna respond with that in mind.
1. "Ever feel like every episode is one big ad-sandvich with a little bit of fitness advice sprinkled in?" – No, you're listening to the wrong podcasts.
2. Andrew Huberman is not telling you to fast till noon. He literally said "I found the best way for me…". He said "for me". He did not say "do this". He talked about his experience.
3. I cannot believe you have the gull to talk about the clickbait podcasts use, when you yourself are doing the same. Your thumbnail is with Huberman, Rogan and then Dr. Mike with his eyes crossed out. Yet you only really mention Huberman and never talk about Rogan or Dr. Mike. I'd like to understand exactly what Dr. Mike has to do with this, with examples. Or maybe he has nothing to do with it and you put him in the thumbnail for "coughs" clickbait?
4. You talk about "optimizing for outrage" and "dramatic titles" yet here we are with your video "The Death of Modern Fitness Podcasts…", which is exactly that. It's a dramatic title with an outrageous claim.
5. You also talk about fearmongering, yet at the end you do the exact same. "And until these platforms stop prioritizing profits over people, this industry is going down fast."
6. You talk about money a lot and how podcasters are just trying to sell stuff to you with discount codes and other shit. And again at the same time, if I check your older videos you literally have discount codes for blood tests and nutritional products in your video description and you're selling your own 1 on 1 coaching.
My dude, you can't be serious. The hypocrisy is real.
Fantastic breakdown! Sell truth- I love it.
Hope you will gain more subscribers soon! I subscribed after watching this vid and it is my first that I have stumbled upon! Great work, really like your opinions
