Out Run – Real consoles comparison PC Engine ( PCE ) VS Sega Genesis (MD) – No Emulator – Out Run.

Real consoles, i never understood the comparisons between consoles that use emulators.
PC Engine ( NTSC )
Sega Genesis ( NTSC )
Sound captured directly from the consoles via stereo cable.
Tv Sony Trinitron (CRT)
Out Run ( console video game )

It should be noted that the Sega Genesis video signal is RGB and the Pc-Engine is CVBS, understanding that both are what they were originally able to achieve without modifications or additions, since in Pc-Engine it is well known that its RGB mod alters the colors and it would not be fair to add scalers or converters because we would be altering the original hardware. This is fair in my opinion, let’s not forget that we are in the 80’s – 90’s … :).

Fun fact, the Ferrari logo is facing the same direction on the MegaDrive but turning left or right depending on what direction the car turns…
So basically the PcEngine keep the same sprite and operate a simple flip between left and right and the MegaDrive has 2 different sprites for turning left and right.
