In one year Messi put Miami on top of the table , wins the league Cup , put Miami in final of us cup and won the supporter shield what more can you want.

@comman_man16 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

1 year ago nobody talk about Miami now everybody talk about Miami because of Messi.

@comman_man16 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Poor goalkeeping poor defence let Miami loose.

@therowgawd November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Apple Tv logos have Messi all over them. HA. ATLANTA. UNITED!!

@1972dsrai November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

This is the team thats been “invited” to the WCC!!!? They’ll get smashed against most of the teams in it. Messi and co look good against most MLS sides, but not against teams from top leagues playing for major honours. Could get embarrassing for the MLS.

@jonathanaragon8793 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

If only Miami had Sergio Ramos, Dani Alves, or keylor Navas

@maxphilly November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

The keeper is really not up to the circumstances but not just him the defense is very bad their best defender is Jordi alba but he's not even a fullback. These things need to be addressed they can't be 100% reliant on Messi.

@prenwil November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

MLS More competitive that other leagues??????? 😂😂😂 Too much for Messi????? 😂😂😂😂. The league had its chance and busted it!

@D.Baatar44 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Mexicans messi duck Ryder's 😂

@ItsMeA3k69 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

You had one job to have the standings correct

@francogalati1005 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Watched the game and really a team like Miami or even Atlanta is third division in all leagues in Europe . Defense very bad and not more than 2 passes completed . Pretty amateur soccer . . MLS has to do something

Incrível um cara como o devid Beckham um conhedor do futebol, so comprar comprar comprar atacante. Acontece que um time pra ser campeão precisa ser completo. So meio campo e atacante nao adianta. Precisa de bons zagueiros.isso o das intermiame e horrível e apática. Amo a intermiame e estou sofrendo. ❤Brasil

@PAAKWAMEPAA November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Great upset

@michaeldonnelly November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

I’m a Miami fan, but tournament matches they are bad and low scoring team.

@josephokenwa-m5p November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Messi is going to be injured again for 3 months until an important tournaments comes up for him to show face 😂

@allannhlanhla November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

And it's not that we just care about Messi, the league itself is actually interesting and competitive, but it's not possible for most of us to watch many games due to the time zones. I literally had to wake up at 1am/2am/3am to watch Intermiami play, I had no issue because it's Messi and Intermiami… But no way I will be waking up for other games, it's just too much. Great league, great teams, good players, but the timezones, nahhh, too much strain on the body.

@allannhlanhla November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

It's only a failure because many people had wild expectations. But for us who watched their games, the way they concede goals, it was about time. I'm not surprised to be honest. And if they keep ignoring their defense, they will keep suffering the same fate. Wtf are you going to do with the likes of Aviles??

@Tadaia November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

While yall are talking that nonsense, Garber is #winning.

1) He got Goldenballs and Miami bedded into the league with superstar power
2) He got the Apple deal
3) He got Messi and company to draw more eyeballs to the league globally (When Messi leaves some will stay, some will go)
4) Garber has worked for 25yrs to grow MLS. You're delusional if you think he's enjoyed watching Messi's retirement crew walk all over his league. There's good reason MLS had this dumb (2 of 3) 1st rd. If Miami progresses he gets at least 2+ Messi matches. If they're knocked out Garber most likely gets 3 playoff matches of Messi. If it were single elimination they'd get 4 matches max… that's IF Miami even made it to the MLS Cup final.
5) Finally, the world got to see one of his biggest clubs, ATL UTD, take down Messi and Company. AUFC is a team that has been struggling for multiple seasons. The league is better with the AUFC fanbase well engaged and the team at least competing at a decent level.
6) Extra added bonus… many disgruntled MLS fans across the continent and globe get to celebrate Miami's takedown

IMO the only people truly mad are the lazy af MLS sportswriters and content providers. Much of the doomspeak, negativity and snark since Miami's ousting has come from them. The free ride is over and the soup kitchen is closed this season. They can no longer just name drop-Messi for hits and to meet quota on their articles and podcasts. The thing that has frustrated me the most about Messimania is that MLS media has allowed it to overshadow the rest of the league. Thru the postseason they're actually going to have to do their jobs again and focus on creating content with focus on the other teams and players.

Salary cap is holding this league back

@DBoonful November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

Disagree on the assessment of Inter Miami defense -since the inter offense puts no pressure on the opposing teams it creates havoc on the Inter defense. Opposing teams are allowed to move unpressured in the back and midfield which turns Inter games into shootouts where more often their final third quality prevails….. but it also makes them easy to play against and hang in if you have unpressured space to work and counter effectively.

@jagbuddy November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

So we are not going to talk about Campano pushing Guzan into the net and how that was not a red card?

@Bongaboi151 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

0:55 Okay, who is the idiot that forgot to switch seeds on the Galaxy-Minnesota match? Someone's about to be fired…

@michaelscott9040 November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

It's hard to create a legacy football club when the format to win the title is playoffs….but then again, miami defense deserved the title loss….Messi is messi, he'll be ok 😂😂😂

@LuyindulaMavakala November 17, 2024 - 11:13 am

The league format does not make sense! This should be a knock out stage and the team with the most point in the league has the home advantage period. The three system series in the first round and win or lose on the following round does not make sense. This is stupidity!
