I want to thank you for taking the time to share your journey with all of us. I have always struggled with my weight and feeling uncomfortable in my skin. I work from home and have a problem staying consistent especially when I am away from home and traveling with my wife. On November 1st I made a promise to myself that I would get at least 8k steps everyday until the end of the year no matter what. I have been doing so good this far and have fell short two days which was last weekend but proud to say this Monday and Tuesday I made up for my short comings and got over my 8k steps to help me feel better about the prior weekend. I have also learned to not feel like I have to be in a specific atmosphere to get these steps in. I am not an outside girly at all. So I have been literally walking back and forth in this hotel room for the last two weeks to meet my goals. I grab my kindle or my phone and just walk back and forth vs. just sitting down on the couch and I low key really like it. Anyway thank you again for your inspiration and motivation it’s truly appreciated over here ❤

Congratulations! Finally my scale started moving and I'm waiting for my whoosh
Happy for you
I've been consistent with my step count no less than 10 K daily and trying to be mindful of my food intake
I can't wait to get to my goal weight
I totally agree with you that I'm eating healthy when I'm active
For some reason when I don't move I just go back to eating junk food
Moving makes me hold myself accountable
Btw I'm 5 ft 2 and I just reached 165 my goal weight is 154
Let's keep going 💪

The post stall cliff is REAL! Great news. Missed you last week, was out on a cruise for a week.. "cost me" 2 weeks progress – up 2 instead of down 3, but acceptable for the time off. RECOMMIT! Before and after is getting shocking. Your joy is contagious.

@GoingGreenMom November 15, 2024 - 10:25 pm

Did you ever measure? Also, just a thought, running supposedly raises cortisol which stops weight loss is my understanding. Congrats on breaking into the 160s!

@kimberlycorrine November 15, 2024 - 10:25 pm

Congrats! I started walking in August but I hadn't been focusing on my deficit so therefore I hadnt lost much. I have started tracking and only drinking water and I see a difference now.

Yay!!! Congrats girl. I started walking in my neighborhood the past week because of you ( I HATE walking lol) I just ordered a walking pad from amazon for $100 because these bugs here in Florida aren't fazed by Off spray. But your clearly motivating people and I can't wait to continue to see your progress.

@lilyessi09 November 15, 2024 - 10:25 pm

I think when people say keep going they mean stick with it and keep on your health journey. Idk y it’s become such a negative thing. Anyway I’m happy for u! When I start losing motivation you always bring me back ❤

@meeshacrayton3412 November 15, 2024 - 10:25 pm

Let’s gooo! 👏 definitely getting your Walk. Hoodie ASAP 🎉so very proud of you for being consistent and not quitting on yourself! Yes, don’t give the negativity any energy!!!! I’ve been slim most of my life but about 2 years ago after I quit smoking cigarettes I gained 30 pounds and my family started calling me fat! Now I’ve lost all the weight and STILL smoke- free Glory to God! They’re still fat and unhealthy… I just don’t fool with people like that.
