BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Insider uses the word steal as it is the word Tarantino uses in an interview they reference. So CHILL

@timsmith2525 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Hah'muh-ges, rather than Hoh-mah'ges.

@consciousmob March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

You need to watch more movies. You come off like someone who doesn't understand how things are made.

@irfanirz9588 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Are you roasting him with golden words bro 😊

@MFDOOOOM March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

These are just shameless and don't pass as "inspiration" lol

@user-lb9ei2kc6s March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

There is no such thing as original, ideal, or unique – everything is a copy of everything!

@user-fp1by2on4g March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Very interesting

@omarpuig1 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Tarantino is essentially hip hop or before hip hop there was the kit bashing process used to create the technology in Star Wars. Taking model kits of ww2 models, cars, airplanes, motorcycles and deconstruct them to appear unrecognizable and resemble something new.

Django scene when DiCaprio breaks the glass reminded me of Brando when he throws the glass in a streetcar named desire

@MOISTRAP69 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

i can not believe you didn't use drake as a reference comparing how he does it with music

@MOISTRAP69 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

i think his movies are honestly super overhyped.

Roger Avary wrote the Gold Watch segment, so technically Roger took homage in that scene of Psycho

@bungalobill7941 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

The line "pair of pliers and a blowtorch" comes straight from the 1972 movie Charlie Varrick.

Steal Like an Artist

@user-se7rd6cm6q March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Hitchcock was much better than him

@DrewHughesMusic March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

I literally paused at 4:57… watched the big lebowski and then continued to watch this YouTube video. Fact

@melissamoonchild9216 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

its actually known as a reference.

@disclose_beauty March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

lmao this comment section is mental 😭 full of Tarantulino stupid af fanboys. That easily tell you the IQ of his audience 💩

@pri012 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Everything is a copy of a copy

@HunterMagunter March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Tarantino is so overrated its laughable. Hes made 2 good movies, the rest are meaningless

@anuragmathur3824 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Maybe scenes are similar but the stories are purely original. Period. 👍

@diamondgeezertunes March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Even the narrator talks likes QT

@muzz1290 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Reservoir Dogs came out in 1992, not 1997

@DoFliesCallUsWalks March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

u can actually call it paying respect to

@DoFliesCallUsWalks March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

i think quentin only BORROWS, not steals, and just because one scene looks like another doesn't mean it always is on perpose, The Matrix took content even from 1920s movies.

@sumedh6211 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Bro didn't know the meaning of homage

@CoconutPete March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

it took me years to realize that creativity is a myth… everything has been copied with slight modifications. Try to think of one thing that is "creative", do a little research and you'll see it actually wasn't that creative.

@royaltyyy9693 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Horrible analysis

@ccwnoob4393 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

If you want to know about the Kill Bill exploding heart technique, steal ideas Tarentino-style instead of going to film school you arrogant "basterds". Check out The Abduction Of Margaret Houlihan – M.A.S.H (Season 5, Episode 7) for the real exploding heart technique if you never studied but instead did Tostito style.

@aaronalvarado2481 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

The Aristocats looks like a good movie.

@nutcracke16 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

I don’t understand what is so special about his dialogue. It is very contrived and characters are always setting each other up. Also, he doesn’t steal, he straight up copies from other films. I don’t understand how a person, better yet an artist would feel comfortable doing that.
But I must say his movies are visually stunning and beautifully acted. I guess he has good taste and great cinematographers, actors, etc working for him.

@JohnPaulBuce March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

was that a (insert movie here) reference?!?

@dannermcgrath9014 March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

It’s not stealing it’s just art, all art is based on human experience. The man has admitted to taking all sorts of things from films he likes. Jazz music has the same tradition.

@Gynecologist March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Every one stole from Hitchcock

@brotherflag March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

I love Tarantino because he steals like an artist and shows his work. All, and I mean ALL, artists, “steal”. There’s nothing new under the sun.

@Bd1Zen March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Ngl Quentin Tarantino is the Bob Ross of movies

@justinholtman March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

Well made video

@justinholtman March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

I think it’s smart. He doesn’t plagiarize more influence. Reservoir dogs is close to plagiarism tho I think but also who saw the Japan city on fire or whatever he westernized it

@justinholtman March 27, 2024 - 3:57 am

He’s admitted he does. I don’t see anything wrong with it to an extent there’s a fine line. Like the opening so many movies show that camera angle. But yeah a couple of them are questionable. But u love Quentin’s movies it’s like hey yeah he steals certain things but imagine if we didn’t have any of his work.
