I disagree here. The Golden Compass. I like the how the film did away with the anti religion parts. So they don't get under fire by the catholic church. Eragon wasn't a bad movie for me. I like when book to film or tv adaptations deviate from the source material. I was a child when All The Pretty Horses was released. I like the studio version. I don't find it as a disaster at all. I don't judge films or tv by it's final product. I watch it for personal entertainment and enjoyment purposes. I am not here for political views. They can happen in a passing mention.
the lord of the rings trilogy was almost sabotaged by the studio; peter Jackson was forced by the series' original studio; Miramax to turn the three books into one move, forcing the filmmakers to go to new line cinema to take over the project.

Even if Emo Peter is a great improvised dancer, I still wonder what could have happened had Venom never existed in the Raimiverse???
Two Paramount films should have been mentioned, GI Joe 1 and The Last Airbender
Golden Compass was great
Idgaf about what anyone says
Brazil is one of my favorite movies!! I had never even heard of it…. then, I played The Outer Worlds! 🙂
I remember being so excited to see Alien 3. I got to the theater and was like “WTF?!”
Pocahontas was plagued by Disney adding rewrites and them taking out a couple deleted scenes, one we all knew too well, and why the hell was it only 81 minutes, it needed 9 more
Ah, Alien³ (1992), the beginning of the end for the Alien franchise. For your convenience, I have set up a chart for movies that came before and followed Alien³ (1992) in the film franchise;
Good Alien movies before 3: 2/2
Good Alien movies after 3: 1/5
Alien: Covenant (2017) was the only good film, and not great, especially compared to Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), was still better than Prometheus (2012) by fixing the new (and utterly stupid) continuity, and oddly enough, was the newest entry, released in 2017.
Terrance Howard is kicking himself, but I always hated his whiney voice. It's not war machine, never was. Go cheadle
Jon Favreau's Chef is the manifestation of all the frustrations he had during Iron Man 2. It was a masterpiece. I wish we will have Chef 2.
One big mistake in Suicide Squad was not using a CGI Killer Croc. And the guy they did use played like some street asshole gangbanger. Lame.
Here’s what you should’ve put on the list…
1. Fantastic Four [also known as FANT4STIC] (2015)
2. Once Upon a Time in America
3. Justice League
4. Blade Runner
5. Kingdom of Heaven
6. Suicide Squad
7. Superman II
8. Alien 3
9. The Golden Compass
10. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Dishonorable Mentions:
Hancock
Iron Man 2
RoboCop (2014)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
My Response: #restorethesnyderverse
LOL Hancock is PG-13 not PG
No 2011 thing prequel?
Man imagine how good Hancock would have been if it wss was rated R. SMH
WB really likes to fuck over their DC movies…
Never disrespect Hancock
Don't you dare talk shit about Emo Parker dance, That was a masterpiece
I'm surprised "Exorcist: The Beginning/ Dominion" was not number 1. Surprised the 1925 "Phantom of the Opera," "Mimic" or "Halloween 6" didn't make honorable mention. But glad "Superman II" was mentioned.
Re: Blade Runner – you forgot to mention Sir Ridley Scott's 2007 'Ultimate Edition' of Blade Runner…'The Final Cut'
It’s champing at the bit
I think studios need to learn that most people don’t enjoy the typical “Hollywood Ending” and that they need to trust that the directors and producers and screen writers know what they are doing.
