Defunct Games reviews Zombotron by Ant Karlov, available April 22 on PC and Mac (via Steam).
Although initially intriguing, Zombotron ends up being a frustrating run ‘n gun shooter marred by floaty gameplay, bad level designs and annoying technical problems. It’s an action game that fails to capitalize on a cool setup and instead gets dogged down by muddy graphics and annoying boss fights. Even with the nice variety of weapons and occasional story beats, this game is a slog. Zombotron may have its moments, but I’m not sure it was worth the wait.

If only they continued the main story…
Minecraft
(me using cheat engine) too ez
I honestly love this game more than the others
I agree with your verdict, but you would have to play on a school computer first. To appreciate all that was fixed.
I was going to buy this on Steam because i thought it was a Metal Slug style shooter but now it doesn't seem like something i'll like all that much.
I'll trust the masses on this one.. You must be the only person saying this game is anything other than awesome.
My sort of game and I'd love to see it on switch.
i always loved zombotron and i still do now, i'm a big fan of it also; i'm midway through the ending but to be honest, i'm definetly right with you. i must admit, the enviroment problem, palette and TONS of same enemies; you were completely right in your critique and you were good enough to keep it up not to make it look like an awful game. I love this, keep it up
Well welcome back to childhood. And btw I do agree that the graphics are nice and gameplay is fun with muddy texture which fits the environment in the game. But I disagree with technical issues and fast ammo depletion. Its because you do not know how to play the game properly. During the Infator(Skeleton) Boss Battle you'll have enough ammo to kill it. But a weapon is required to kill it quick. A assault or battle rifle and a Rocket Launcher which you can buy in the level.
Hey the Flash games!! DO IT!!
Zombotron is my fav Flash game.
this aint no port
Now all I can think of is zombo.com. Which is very different.
I used to play this game everyday on friv as I child
cant wait to play this
Qotd: dating sims, jrpgs*, RTSs, & sports games. I would say simulation/rts too but I'm starting to gain interest in some of those
*for the most part
Genre blind spots eh?? I've tried a lot of different genres out there but the one I gravitate towards the least has to be JRPGs. I remember trying Chrono Trigger out about a decade ago since everyone was saying how phenomenal of a game it was. I wanted to gouge my eyes out from boredom after the first 15 minutes. I realized that it wasn't the game itself I hated but the genre just wasn't for me.
My genre blind spots are: MMOs, anything turn based, City-Builders, Management Sims. I actually have all these genres ignored on my Steam store preferences. It's mostly due to the gameplay. Turn based combat is so monotonous to me, unless it has real-time elements like the Mario and Luigi RPG series, and Paper Mario.
I can't say I'm all that familiar with this one either. Maybe this could be considered as a game blind spot for me too, and sports games as well, minus WWE. With that, very much know each year is a 2K game, but other sports, too many too keep track of.
My videogame blindspots are twin stick shooters and puzzle games. The only video puzzle game that matters is Tetris.
I actually was trying to remember it's name a few days back, and here it is, a new installment. time for a nostalgia I guess.
