For as long as there have been humans, we’ve looked up at the night sky and wondered what lies beyond. The following is our list of the ten best space movies. For this video, we’re looking at any films that have some form of setting in space and are including both sci-fis and historical dramas. Also, we’re only including one film per franchise.

Please note that we’re only including films that have some form of setting in space or on an extraterrestrial planet or moon, so movies such as ‘ET’ and ‘Close Encounters’ don’t count.
Honorable mention: Spaceball. The movies above interstellar have simply been out longer. Give interstellar 20 more years, it will be greatest ever

why the interstellar is 5?
I know 2001: a space odessey is a classic and it’s special etc. But i gave it a watch and it was so incredibly boring to me, very hard to sit through. I never hear anyone say that, i wonder if it’s just me lol.

2010 was not bad at all. Wrongly underrated.
I also loved Apollo 18, Ad astra, Space cow boys, The Martian, Mission to Mars, Marooned.
