These are the films that made Hollywood great. This final video culminates our Best Movies of All Time series by drawing from the #1 or #2 ranked movies in each decade list. These movies are selected based on their iconic status, critical acclaim, box-office success, and watchability; and not what your film studies professor or most artsy movie critics would pick. Join http://www.WatchMojo.com as we conclude our series on the Best Movies of All Time with our list of the Top 10 Movies of All Time.

THE BEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME ARE THOSE THAT MADE THE MOST MONEY. EVEN IF A FILM WIN ALL THE ACADEMY AWARD IF IT FAIL THE BOX OFFICE HIT IT IS NOT CONSIDERED BEST MOVIE. FILMS AFTER ALL ARE MADE FOR PROFIT. ONE OF THE TOP MOVIE I KNOW IS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS 1956. IT WAS THE NUMBER 1 BOX OFFICE HIT WHEN IT WAS RELEASED 1956. THE ADMISSION TICKET ON THEATERS IS ONLY 48 CENTS 1956. I FIRST WATCHED THIS MOVIE 1973 IN THE PHILIPPINES AS THEY ALWAYS SHOW IT DURING LENTEN SEASON AND THE MOVIE HOUSES ARE ALWAYS FULL. I WATCH IS AGAIN 1993 AND THE MOVIE HOUSES ARE STILL FULL. THEY DO THIS ON CATHOLIC COUNTRIES DURING HOLY WEEK. I TRIED TO WATCH IN YOU TUBE THIS YEAR BUT IT IS EITHER YOU BUY OR RENT IT. MAYBE IF YOU COUNT ALL THE MONEY IT GARNERED FROM THE DAY IT WAS RELISHED UNTIL NOW IT SURPASSES AVATAR OR EVEN AVENGERS CONSIDERING INFLATION TOO. TO GO TO MOVIE THEATER THIS DAYS COST A PERSON FROM $11 TO $20.

The problem is that there are so many "greatest" films that to narrow down to only ten is a travesty that ignores the bulk of deserving movies. Here's my list and all of these deserve ten out of ten stars: Amadeus 1984, The Wizard of Oz 1939, Casablanca 1942, Forbidden Planet 1956, The Gamma People 1956, Vertigo 1958, Psycho 1960, Village of the Damned 1960, The Birds 1963, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer 1964, Flight of the Phoenix 1965, Island of Terror 1966, Cool Hand Luke 1967, Countdown 1967, 2001: A Space Odyssey 1968, Planet of the Apes 1968, The Illustrated Man 1969, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun 1969, Marooned 1969, Midnight Cowboy 1969, The Andromeda Strain 1971, Brian's Song 1972, Summer of '42 1971, Deliverance 1972, Silent Running 1972, Soylent Green 1973, Dog Day Afternoon 1975, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 1975, Rollerball 1975, Logan's Run 1976, Rocky 1976, Alien 1979, The China Syndrome 1979, The Shining 1980, Somewhere in Time 1980, Blade Runner 1982, Fast Times at Ridgemont High 1982, Silkwood 1983, Ferris Beuller's Day Off 1986, Goodfellas 1990, The Hunt for Red October 1990, Of Mice and Men 1992, Tombstone 1993, The Shawshank Redemption 1994, Phenomenon 1996, A Simple Plan 1998, and The Green Mile 1999. That's all the best movies ever, and there are therefore 47 of them. All good wishes.

6. Schindler's List
7. Pulp Fiction

Not a bad list the only one I feel really shouldn't be on there is The Dark Knight. It's not a bad movie at all, its brilliant, but to put it in the top ten of all time would be criminal to all the other great movies that far surpass it.
