Which outbreak movie terrified you the most!?
Perfect! So glad you had Contagion on as Number 1. This felt like quite a bit what our timeliness COVID pandemic was like.
I saw Outbreak and it does actually give us one thing Contagion didn’t an understanding behind the BSL levels mention in Contagion. Diseases are normally ranked in BSL levels based on any type of possible treatment with BSL1 is treatable diseases and BSL4 for diseases that don’t have a vaccine, cure, or even known treatment for (Ebola and Hunta Virus being BSL4) and they list some diseases that falls under each level. I wouldn’t be surprise many viruses that comes with a risk of death started at BSL4 before a vaccine was made to combat them. So the ones we should worry about in real life are the diseases that stays in BSL4
Honestly thinking back I find it odd a BSL4 lab don’t contain any bat cells to cultivate viruses in. You would think since BSL4 deal with the most dangerous viruses they have access to any type of cell needed to cultivate and work on trying to cure or make a vaccine for those viruses.
Contagion is so well-made and above the rest that I suspect we won't see a better movie of its kind for several more decades.

Outbreak "From soul destroying realism…" yes I'm searching for exactly this kind of outbreak movie, but as of yet I couldn't find some serious ones. maybe Virus (2019) from India
the scene where everyone sang and made a lot of noise in the World War Z movie they deserved to be eaten because they made the zombies come to them they're attracted to noise if they had kept quite they would have survived but no they had to be complete idiots
Dont forget Maze Runner Trilogy. A couple of them were prophetic on what would take place in 2020.
